How can I check out your work?
To check out my work, like that of any photographer, you need to do more than just look at a handful of photos taken at random from services over the years, you need to see a series of complete services. This is the only way to get an accurate idea of my approach and my style.
You can find some of my complete services in the Real Weddings section.
How much do you charge?
My services start at €1100. If you would like more detailed info, write to me at:
How do you organise your services?
My services last about 10 hours, and I following all the stages of the wedding, from preparation to the reception (included).
Do you work on your own?
No, I always work with an assistant or second photographer, depending on the kind of service chosen by the bride and groom.
How long will we have to wait for the photos?
I will deliver all the photos taken max 30 days after the wedding.
If you are not interested in an album and have opted for a package that includes just the photos in digital format, this is where we say goodbye. Otherwise it’s up to you to look through the files and tell me which ones you would like in the album.
We then prepare a mock-up of the album for your approval and you let us know of any changes you want to make. Once you are satisfied, the album is sent off for printing.
Printing of the finished album takes from 30 to 60 days.
Why can’t I find any association logos on your website?
Because I am currently not affiliated with any of the wedding photographer associations.
In the past I have been a member of ANFM, FIOF, WPJA and ISPWP, all very serious national and international associations.
Belonging to an association should guarantee very high levels of competence and professionalism. However, recent years have seen an unbelievable proliferation of associations with the result that any photographer, pro or not, good or bad, can obtain a nice sticker to put on the homepage of their website.
Therefore, if everybody gets a sticker, and if clients don’t know which association is more serious than the others, why should I pay fees to one or more associations?
How do you calculate your expenses?
My expenses include transport, accommodation for two people, etc. If your location is two hours or more from Grosseto (based on Google Maps journey times), I will claim expenses for part of the transfer cost.
Is editing of the photos included in the cost of the service?
Absolutely. All the photos delivered will have been processed and be ready for printing.
What else is included in your fee?
Unless you decide otherwise or we agree on something different, all my packages include:
-About 10 hours of service (the minimum need to follow all the stages of the wedding)
-Editing of all the photos (at least 400)
-Delivery of all the images (at least 400) in high-resolution jpg format, which means you are then free to print your photos anywhere you like in the future, without having to come back to my studio.
Do I have to feed the photographers?
Definitely. Not because we are professional wedding crashers, which is what you are probably thinking.
We simply need to refuel and drink water to avoid fainting during the 10 or 12 hours a service takes. If you really want to make us happy, organise a table to one side just for us, where we can keep our bags and equipment and chill during quiet moments at the reception (not too far from the other guests however, if possible, so that we can keep an eye on things, camera at the ready). It’s obviously not necessary to feed us all the various courses on the wedding menu, a simple kids’ version (the classic pasta and meat combo) is more than sufficient.
I have requested loads of quotes and I don’t understand which one is the best value.
This is normal and so, as I’m more of an expert on weddings that you are, I have put together a small guide to interpreting wedding photographer quotes:
